C. Allen White, M.D.
Dr. White was born and
raised in Lexington, Kentucky. He received a B.A. degree
from Milligan College in Johnson City, Tennessee, and
earned his degree in medicine from the
University of Kentucky Medical School, Lexington. He
completed both his pediatric internship and residency at
the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.
Following two years of active duty at Maxwell Air Force
Base, Dr. White began the private practice of pediatric
medicine. His first office was in the Goode Medical
Building at Jackson Hospital until he and Dr. Coggin
moved to the present location on Carmichael Road in
1986. He is certified by the American Board of
Fellow, American Academy of Pediatrics

Dr. White and his wife Diana have three sons. The
oldest, Brad, graduated from the University of Alabama,
and his middle son, Travis, from Auburn University,
making an interesting situation during football season.
His youngest son, Taylor, graduated from Santa Fe
Community College in Gainesville, Florida and Sneed
State in Boaz, Alabama. The whole family enjoys the beach, football, basketball, fishing and cooking. Dr. White and his wife have degrees from The University of Kentucky and follow Wildcat basketball closely. Diana also graduated from Trenholm Culinary Arts School and has published three cookbooks. Dr. White likes to read, garden, listen to Bluegrass music and spend time with his grandchildren.
